1. “Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight.” ― Phyllis Diller
It’s a pretty bad idea to go to bed mad when you’re in the middle of a fight. You need to have conflict resolution to safely pass through your strife.
Even if it means staying up late, it’s better than an otherwise angry, quiet, sleepless night.
2. “The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.” ― Joe Klaas
The truth is an important thing to get from the people around you, even when it hurts to hear the truth.
Truly, the truth will set you free, but first it’s going to really piss you off.
3. “The best fighter is never angry.” ― Lao Tzu
Anger is a normal expression of frustration, but raging your way into a fight is not a good way to come out a winner.
The best fighter, like Lao Tzu said, is the one who doesn’t go into it mad. Cool off, then work out what you need to.
